Watercolors and Nature

Fancy Cactus, watercolor on 30"H x 22"W on Fabriano Artistico hot press watercolor paper in a simple blond maple wood frame, 36" x 28.5" with UV acrylic glass and white archival mat. This little red cactus is only about 3” wide, but just had to be depicted larger than life to show all its amazing jewel-like detail and color. Its otherworldliness led me to leave it floating in space like a UFO.
